Scientific Calculator
Enter a value and select a function to compute sin, cos, tan, log, ln, sqrt, factorial, powers, and more.
A scientific calculator for common math and science functions: trigonometry (sin, cos, tan and their inverses), logarithms (log₁₀ and ln), roots, powers, factorial, and more. Switch between degrees and radians for trig functions.

- Select degrees or radians if using trig functions.
- Click a function button to apply it.
- Read the result and the formula explanation.
Frequently Asked Questions
- log (log₁₀) is the base-10 logarithm — log(1000)=3. ln is the natural logarithm (base e ≈ 2.718) — ln(e)=1. Use log for decibels, pH, and Richter scale; use ln for growth/decay problems.
- Use degrees for everyday angles (360° in a full circle). Use radians in calculus, physics, and most mathematical analysis (2π radians in a full circle). Most scientific work uses radians.
- n! (n factorial) = n × (n-1) × … × 2 × 1. For example, 5! = 120. Factorials appear in combinations, permutations, and probability.
