Frequently Asked Questions
- Standard spacing is 8 feet on center. For 8-foot panels, you'll need a post at each end plus every 8 feet along the run. Strong winds or tall fences may warrant 6-foot spacing.
- One-third to one-half of the post length should be buried. For a 6-foot fence, use 8-foot posts set 2–2.5 feet deep. Frost depth in your area also matters.
